1. Jack and his computer geek friend hash out the recent plot developments in case you haven’t been paying attention. Wonder what all of those colorful lights blinking in this guy’s garage were for?
2. So a “secure” phone line on 24 means the same as “setting up a perimeter” on 24… absolutely nothing.
3. Pillar asks his assistant to make his office less public and with the flip of a switch, the windows fog up. Hastings really tricked up his office didn’t he?
4. So, this Paver guy travels to Jack’s rendezvous point at the mall with Reed the reporter, sets up shop as a sniper in an a/c duct after getting the location from a call intercepted at CTU all within 20 minutes?
5. I just love it when a plan comes together! Jack outsmarts the Russians and CTU again and takes out the Russian goons gunning for him because he read the script beforehand.
6. Logan… so decisive on decisions involving world affairs and peace treaties… so indecisive when it comes to neck ties.
7. Why are there shoppers still gathered around the dead bodies when Pillar arrives on the scene at the mall? That was weird.
8. Jack uses everything but a ball point pen in the thigh to get Pavel to spill his guts. Nothing works so Jack reaches into Pavel’s gut to spill it for him. And look what he finds… a SIM card to Pavel’s phone.
9. President Charles Logan -uh, I don’t know how to say this but you just became public enemy number one to Jack Bauer.
Next week, Jack takes Logan hostage. Wonder what tie he’ll be wearing?
