1. Josef arrives at the rendezvous point and turns around to look at the nuclear rods to make sure they didn’t escape out the back door. Yep. Still there.
2. Jack calls Chloe at CTU and Chloe answers, “CTU. O’Brian.” So, CTU can trace cell phone calls, follow people through video cameras all over the city, and utilize drones over the city for surveillance, but they don’t have caller ID????
3. Renee asks Jack about the statement he made, “I have you.” Jack says he meant it the way it sounded which should really worry Renee because most of Jack’s loved ones and friends end up dead.
4. Renee is in medical with lots of medicine, scissors, etc. on the shelves. Shouldn’t she really be in psych with padded walls? Just sayin.
5. Kristen Smith from the Justice Dept is being sent over to CTU at 12:15 AM to talk with Renee. Guess Kristen is going to get some good overtime pay for working the graveyard shift.
6. Cole is informed that his team has done a sweep of the area which is an odd way to look for nuclear weapons. But Cole seems unfazed and thanks the agent.
7. Kristen Smith from the Justice Dept arrives at CTU in a mere 5 minutes.
8. Jack uses a Jedi mind trick on the guard, “Son, you better put that (gun) down or you’re going to get hurt.” Jack walks right past the guard but then he gets struck in the back by a light sabre.
9. My name is not Dana Walsh. It’s Jenny Scott. Crap. Now the wedding invitations have to be re-done.
10. Hastings: “Agent Owen has my full confidence.” Jack: “Yeah, if that were true, you wouldn’t be standing here talking to me.” Classic.
11. And with that, Jack puts the strap of his KNAPSACK over his head to the other shoulder and declares, “Deal.” Then he and Hastings seal the deal with a pinky swear. (I thought that was a bit much.)
12. Kevin’s last words to Jenny: “I shouldn’t have come back.” Just a gut feeling I guess.
Time’s up!!!
